The WIT Team Inov-8 challenge.

Do you want to represent Team Inov-8 at the Whatever It Takes launch event?

This month's WIT Challenge gives you the chance to do exactly that. We are offering the chance for 2 x Men and 1 x Woman to be kitted out head to toe in Inov-8 gear and compete in Team Inov-8 against our other in store brands and local athletes.

The following challenge can be completed in the Whatever It Takes store or in your own gym/home/training space. If you choose one of the latter options please ensure that you take video footage of you completing the workout. We are operating a system of total honesty so we do not need you to post this footage, it may just be required to verify the final scores.

This is an individual workout - the top two males and top female scores will then be placed in Team Inov-8.

Please post your score below our Whatever It Takes - Team Inov-8 challenge post. Closing date Saturday 14th February.

If the bar is dropped from above waist height at any point your score will not be counted.

15 Down and Ups

The movement starts with the athlete standing fully upright, shoulders, hips, knees and feet in one vertical line.

The athletes must then lower themselves to the floor, until their hips and chest are in contact with the floor.

The athlete must then return to standing showing shoulders, hips, knees and feet in one vertical line.
Athletes can choose to step up/down or jump up/down.

15 hand release Push Ups

The athlete’s chest must make contact with the ground and both hands must be lifted from the ground before the athlete can push back up to the starting position. Using this standard of movement, the athlete must complete the full range of motion: The chest must touch the ground, the elbows must reach full extension at the top. The athlete’s body must be in a plank throughout the movement.

15 Air Squats

Start standing upright with the knees and shoulders in line, At the bottom of the squat, the hip must pass below the top of the knee, breaking a 90 degree angle. When returning to the standing position, the knees, shoulders, and hips must be locked out in a straight vertical line.
