13 Men x 13 Hour AMRAP = 1 Mega Movember

WOULD YOU BE ABLE TO WORKOUT FOR 13 HOURS STRAIGHT?

13 Men took on a 13 hour AMRAP (as many rounds as possible) On Sunday 17th November, at our flagship training facility in Central London with one common goal, to raise as much as possible for the Mega Movember team and Movember charity.

The why behind the intensity of the reps and programming, is clear. EACH DAY, there are 13 male suicides in the UK. That’s 94 each week.

There are 45 minutes between each death from prostate cancer and still 1/20 men don't survive testicular cancer.

Their guys’ personal motives for undertaking this gruelling experience differed, but their commitment, effort and synchro reps were united and supported with a monumental MC effort from Mr PMA Fitness himself, Faisal and a gym full of friends and family, keeping the energy and atmosphere almost tangible.

Captained by Fergus Crawley and with team of coaches, PT’s and friends assembled by Tom Lowe, at 8am the boys were off, loaded with doughnuts and determined by the mantra #NoManLeftBehind

We were blown away by the endless camaraderie, banter and number of KB swings shown by Team Mega Movember. From start to finish, they were nothing short of remarkable.

Totalling an eyewatering 84 miles of running, 2,700 Burpees, 2,340 Deadlifts, 1,112,300 meters rowed, skied and cycled, 5,640 Kettlebell Swings, 5,640 Lunges and 5,640 Air Squats.

If you missed the carnage, it’s not too late to donate. £25,406 and counting, Mega Movember team are #2 on the UK Movember Fundraising leader board.
